The service delivers a business theory with deliverables including use cases and logical data. Requirements are what implement business processes as interactions between human and nonhuman agents. Human agents and nonhuman agents are integrated into the same conceptual framework. The challenge is to develop a substantial notion of the agentive function of technical artifacts, while retaining the possibility of making distinctions between (1) human agency, (2) technology assisted human agency, (3) causal efficacy of artifacts on human agents and (4) artificial agency.
